Turkey Hunting
Crawford Farms
Turkey Hunting
The primary focus of our management program is to attract and hold mature Whitetail Deer on
the farm. One of the side benefits is that our efforts also attract and hold a large number of
turkeys.
We offer a limited amount of spring turkey hunting. The spring turkey season is gobbler only
and we restrict hunting to 4 hunters per week. As with our deer hunting, turkey hunting is fair
chase and no guarantee is made as to the success of filling a tag. Prices for spring turkey
hunting are per hunter, for a four day hunt. Most spring Turkey hunters will arrive on Sunday
and hunt Monday through Thursday, although other schedules can be accommodated. The fall
turkey season coincides with a portion of the deer season. Deer hunters may choose to also
purchase a fall turkey permit.
See the Rates and Updates pages for rates and availability.
License Requirements
Non-residents of Ohio must purchase a non-resident annual hunting license. In addition, all
hunters must purchase at least one deer permit for deer hunting. Turkey hunters must also
purchase a spring turkey permit or fall turkey permit. All Ohio licenses are sold over the
counter (no draw or lottery) and can be purchased online (www.dnr.state.oh.us), by mail or in
person at many locations in the state.
